Tap Tap Animation
The recovered 2011 page describes 418 tap lights mounted on a large structure. Visitors could switch these physical pixels to compose patterns, images, and messages, with a time-lapse station capturing the changes.
A wall of shared pixels
This was an interaction people could understand through direct action: pressing one light changed one part of the shared image. Each visitor worked on a common surface, so a pattern could become a conversation between people who never planned it together.
