An imagined sculptural arrangement of colorful geometric objects.Thinking with form, color & material

A field guide, not a finish line

Purincess is an independent reading room about visual ideas, useful objects, playful interactions, and creative technology. The guides connect concepts with things you can sketch, arrange, prototype, or code.

The first edition brings together 216 guides across twelve disciplines. You can read from the beginning, search for a practical question, or follow a topic into an unfamiliar area.

Learn by trying

Each guide includes a worked example or an exercise. These are original teaching scenarios, not claims about client projects, commissioned work, or measured research. This edition was drafted with AI assistance. Reference links point to standards, primary documentation, and educational resources where they help a reader go further.

The playground offers three small browser-based experiments. No account or external service is needed; your color choices and pattern settings stay in your browser.

A new chapter for the domain

The earlier website explored art, design, and creative experiments. This edition carries those broad interests forward as a subject publication. It is a new, independent operation and does not represent the former portfolio owner, collaborators, or clients.

Earlier project addresses are collected in the project archive. Those records identify the available historical evidence and distinguish a documented project from details that could not be recovered. They are not newly attributed portfolio work.

Visuals & publishing

The homepage sculpture is an imagined editorial illustration generated for this publication. The article library mixes photographic-style studio scenes, watercolor, graphite, collage, printmaking, technical drawings, typographic posters, and generative line art. Generated scenes are imagined editorial illustrations; code-native studies use their own distinct visual methods. The earlier portfolio’s image files are not reused in this edition.

Article dates are shown on each guide and in the reading room. Historical archive dates identify source captures or dated references.
