Reframe explored putting an older phone or music player inside a frame. The archived page suggested display uses such as a clock, an image sequence, and a weather widget.
A second life for a small screen
The concept treated a pocket device as a visible household object. A frame changes how a screen is encountered: the display becomes a persistent part of a room, rather than something a person takes out only when needed.
