What We Got Wrong About Instantaneous Rate of Change?
Now, I don’t mean instantaneously… There are so many things in life that are instantaneous. For example, you can’t eat a steak and not have a heart attack. You can’t say to someone in front of you “I’m sorry, I’m late, I was supposed to be home in fifteen minutes,” so you say “OK, I’ll be fifteen minutes late.
But there are things that are not instantaneous. For example, it takes a lot longer than fifteen minutes to drive to Wal-Mart from your house. There are things that are happening right now that will happen in a few seconds. For example, there is a lot more traffic in the city than when I was home, and I know that my house is on the 6th floor.
Unusual Uses of Instantaneous Rate of Change.
This seems counterintuitive until you realize that when you can get from point A to point B in a few seconds, that doesn’t mean you are going to point B in five seconds. The thing is, if I have to wait fifteen minutes to walk to Wal-Mart, I can just drive an hour to Wal-Mart instead. To the contrary, there are many things that can happen in a few minutes that are going to take a whole lot longer.
The thing that is most surprising to me is how fast the traffic is when I go to bed. Usually I get to sleep an hour or so after I get up, but every once in a while I have to get up in two or three hours to get to work. I have to take a walk, too. I guess that is due to the fact that I have a lot of things to do around the house that take time away from the main activity of the day.
The 9 Best Instantaneous Rate of Change.
The way I see it, the instantaneous rate of change is the concept of “change over time.” You are going from one thing to the next. For example, when I watch television, I have to wait for the next episode to start, and if I am watching from bed I have to wait for the next episode to finish. But that is all the more reason to have your home organized and clean.
What I find fascinating is that our own home is changing over time. The last few years I have noticed a lot of things that I didn’t notice before. For example, I have noticed how much I am getting on my knees, what I am doing to the house, my clothes, my car, etc. It may seem silly, but I think you can see the change.
I’m not saying that everything you change is the result of a conscious decision, but you can see that your home changes as a result of things you do. You are responsible for this change.
