Inspired by exploratory user research, CUBOT set out to push the limit of what toys can be.
CUBOT is a motion-based modular block system designed for young children. Some blocks rotate, while others oscillate. When connected together they collectively generate interesting motion behaviors.
CUBOT was design in collaboration with engineering students and received an honorable mention in I.D. Magazine Student Design Review 2006.
