Digital Camouflage is a two-fold social commentary on how insignificant yet self-centered we are and how we often take service work provided to us for granted. Using Max/MSP/Jitter + Arduino, I created an interactive installation where the audience disappears (appears to be under a digital camouflage) on a video screen. Real-life silhouettes of labor workers are also absent from the live video feed until the audience approaches near the free-standing sculpture covered in MARPAT digital camouflage print.
